Q: Wheres the crankshaft sensor located on a 2010 vw cc 2.0

asked by on

Where is the cranshaft sensor located?
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi There, The crankshaft position sensor on your vehicle should be located behind the timing chain cover. In order to get to it, you will need to remove the top plastic cover and then the timing cover itself. It should be fitted inside the housing with some wires plugged into it.
