Q: When I replace the blower motor do I need to replace the resistor also?

asked by on November 17, 2017

When the A/C or heater is on there is a loud high pitched hum. The more you turn the A/C our heat up, the louder the hum. If I replace the blower motor, is it necessary to replace the blower motor resistor as well?

My car has 180000 miles.
