Is running the car at 2500rpm at 70 mph average or high?

My car has 73000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi Peggy. Thanks for the question tonight. 2,500 while on the highway at 70 mph is about right. It is a little on the high side, but within the average RPM levels.
