Hi Jasmine. Thanks for contacting us tonight. Typically, anytime the engine stalls while driving, the steering wheel’s power steering will not work correctly, which will cause it to "lock up"; so there is likely nothing wrong with the steering itself. In regards to the vehicle stalling, this is usually caused by a fuel or ignition timing problem. Since there are so many possible reasons that your car is not starting, it’s a good idea to have a professional mechanic come to your location to complete a car is hard to start inspection. This will permit them to diagnose the root source of this problem, so the right repairs can be made.
