Q: What do I do if the power windows don’t close properly?

You can troubleshoot the power windows if they fail to close all of the way.

1. Stop the vehicle.

2. The ignition must be in the on position.

3. Hold the power window switch again for at least six seconds after the window closes.

4. When the window opens, continue holding for at least two seconds.

5. Press the switch to closed the window and hold the switch once again for at least two more seconds after the window has closed a second time.

Tip

You must start the process over if you release the switch while the window is going up or down.
