What can cause a car slow turning to start

My car has 199825 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hello there. In most cases, when you have difficulty starting a vehicle it’s caused by either a fuel or ignition system component failure. If the engine will crank over (meaning the starter engages and cranks it over), but is slow to start, it can be caused by fuel system components like a mass air flow sensor, EGR valve or fuel injectors that are dirty or clogged with excessive debris. It can also be an ignition system problem due to spark plugs worn out or plug wires that need to be replaced. It might be a good idea to have a professional mechanic come to your location to complete a car is hard to start inspection to isolate the source of your problem and recommend the right repairs.
