I just bought this car a couple weeks ago and the TRAC OFF, VSC TRAC and brake lights are all on, I have had a few cars with this problem and I have not figured it out on any of them, all of the cars were auction vehicles, This car is different then the past ones, it does not have an ABS or check engine light on
My car has an automatic transmission.
Although the check engine and ABS lights are not on, using an appropriate scan tool you can still get the trouble codes that have undoubtedly been stored as a consequence of the VSC fault. If you situation is typical, the codes will refer to a fault in the network of wheel speed sensors, the brake pressure modulator, interconnecting wiring and sensors, the control computer and so forth all of which are subject to malfunction. To have the codes read and the actual fault pinpointed the recommended service is a VSC/traction control system diagnostic. If you request that service, the responding certified mechanic will let you know exactly what has gone wrong and what the required repairs and cost will be.
