Hi Kamil, it's nice to meet you. This usually means there is an air pocket in the heater core. Did you check the coolant level in the overflow jug or in the actual [radiator](/topics-radiator-toyota/)? I would pressure test the cooling system as you may have a very small leak you can't see easily with it.

I checked coolant level in the actual radiator
Automotive Expert
Ok, I still suggest either pressure testing the system or having it pressure tested because no heat at first really indicates an air pocket in there.

What about the over heating only a little doesn't go to the red
Automotive Expert
That's indicative of a small air pocket in the heater core.

How do I get rid of it?The air pocketYou bleed it kinda like [brakes](/topics-brake-toyota/)?How do I get rid of the pocket
Automotive Expert
Sorry for the delay. To get rid of the air pocket, you will have to get the front of the car up on ramps or maybe jack it up. Then run it with the radiator cap off until you get heat at idle. You may have to race the [engine](/topics-engine-toyota/) to do this. Once you have heat at idle, turn the car off and let it cool. Top off the coolant and it should be good. If youhave air in there though, you had to have lost some fluid for the air to come in and take it's place.
