Q: Timing belt or chain in my Nissan?

asked by on September 22, 2016

Does my Nissan Note dba-e11 of 2008/7 use a timing chain or belt, and when should I change it if it's belt?

My car has 70000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi there, thanks for your question. This model has a cam driven timing chain, so you should not need to worry about changing the belt at certain intervals. Just be sure to have regular oil changes performed.
