I'm looking into buying this car and the throttle sensor does not work, what does the throttle sensor do? Is it still drivable for a little while before that can be fixed?

Hi, thanks for writing in. The throttle is controlled by an electronic throttle control and the vehicle will most likely be in a fail safe mode that will not allow throttle control. I would recommend having an expert from YourMechanic come to perform a pre-purchase inspection on the car for you.
