What can I possibly do to stop the Traction?
My car has 147000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
If the “Traction Control System (TCS)" Warning Indicator Light is on in the dashboard all the time; it's an indication that the TCS is not working correctly or has been shut off manually. The traction control system helps you in adverse weather conditions by using sensors on the wheel, transmission and other components to prevent loss of control. The light should come on automatically only when the system is actively being used. You don't want to shut this system off; as it could seriously impact safety. If the light is on the dash all the time, either the switch was shut off; or there is a problem with the switch or other TCS systems; which would require a traction control inspection to determine what's causing the problem.
