Q: The radiator fan of my 2015 Chevy Cruze is running more often and at a much faster speed than normal.
For at least the last week, my radiator fan has started cycling on/off more frequently, running at extreme speeds, and even running after the car has been shut off.
My car has 34500 miles.

Hi James. Thanks for sending your question today. It’s not uncommon for the radiator fan to run more frequently from time to time. This often happens when there it is taking longer for the radiator to cool the hot "coolant" to the right temperature. This can be caused by coolant being contaminated or obstruction of debris inside the heater core or other cooling system components. If you haven’t had the radiator flushed yet, you should do this for starters to see if this resolves this issue. If not, please have a professional mechanic inspect your cooling system to determine if a fault exists.
