Q: Temperature gauge stuck at 75% and does not move at all.
I was driving around yesterday and my temperature gauge was fine. Probably in the 35-45% range. I parked and came back out to the car and upon starting, the gauge jumped up to about 70-75% and HAS NOT moved at all since then. No leaks or anything. I come outside the next morning, which it is pretty cold now, and the gauge is still stuck!!! Very frustrating! I dont smell coolant or anything. I can take a paperclip and push the gauge back down to zero but it just spins right back up to the top again. Even with the car off. Any ideas?????
