Q: There was a temperature change in my car.

asked by on December 20, 2016

Recently, I've noticed that my the AC in my car does not produce as much cold air as it used to. When I set to the AC to the lowest temperature (64F) the AC seems to work fine. But as soon as I turn the air up, the AC switches from cold air to immediate hot air. It used to blow out cool air until I hit the half way temperature (72F) and then it switched to warm air. Today i noticed that the car blows out cold air at the lowest temperature and then as soon as I increase the temperature, warm air comes out, way before I even hit the 72F mark. Should I be concerned?

My car has 106200 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
