Q: Steering wheel stopped working

asked by on August 22, 2017

Was driving through a parking lot. My steering stopped working. The wheel did not get stiff. The steering wheel wasn't turning the wheels anymore with no noise or stiff steering wheel. I put it in reverse went a little bit and put it in back in 1st gear and the steering wheel started turning the wheels again.

My car has 176000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.
