Loss of power on acceleration can be due to plugged fuel injectors, faulty oxygen sensors, fuel pump and/or filter, vacuum leaks including that caused by a faulty EGR system, ignition system malfunctions, bad valve timing if the timing belt or chain is worn or skipped, blocked exhaust (e.g., catalytic converter fails or becomes clogged), a faulty airflow sensor or throttle position sensor, and so forth. To pinpoint the exact cause will require an engine loss of power diagnostic. If you request that diagnostic, the certified mechanic will get this resolved for you. If you have further questions or concerns, do not hesitate to re-contact YourMechanic as we are always here to help you.

Can an electric fuel injected engine like my Toyota Tundra backfire while driving?
Hey there, thanks for your question. I'd be happy to provide insight. While this is possible, it is probably not likely to happen with your 2014 Toyota Tundra. An engine backfire (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/what-causes-a-car-to-backfire) is typically caused by a spark plug, or...
Why does my steering wheel make a growling noise when it's turned?
Hi there. Assuming the growling noise in your steering wheel is inside the vehicle, this would lead me to believe there is a problem with steering shaft bearings. It is rare for these bearings to fail. It could also be...

The P-0300 OBD-II trouble code (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/p0300-obd-ii-trouble-code-random-multiple-cylinder-misfire-detected-by-jamahl-walker) indicates that there is a misfire in random or multiple cylinders. This could be caused by misfiring fuel injectors, faulty spark plugs, coil packs, or other ignition...
I just recently took my car in to the shop and they said my radiator had a leak in it and my valve cover was broken so they fixed
If you are having a misfire after the valve cover was replaced you may have got some oil into one or more spark plug holes from the valve cover leaking and is causing one of the ignition coils to misfire....
