Q: Revs go up when idle and vibrates
when turning the car on the revs go up and down just past 1 and will then begin to vibrate, when driving it seems ok but when slowing down and then waiting to pull away it begin to vibrate/shake quite bad almost feeling like its about to stall

Without knowing the engine size and vehicle having this problem I would have to say that you have an engine vacuum leak in an intake gasket or seal. You should have the computer scanned for any lean codes then have that codes diagnosed to fix the problem.
