Q: Reverse doesn’t work

asked by on November 12, 2017

My car makes the worst grinding noise possible when I put it in reverse and of course reverse doesn’t work. However all the other gears work perfectly! It’s been like this a few months now because I so can’t afford to take it in. Help please!

My car has 241000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
