Q: Replace alternate or repair - Camry 1997

My car was not started, Nrma asked to replace the alterna

Most alternators are not repaired anymore and only rebuilt. The parts are not available to repair most alternators in the field. I would recommend replacing the alternator with a remanufactured or new alternator only.
