Q: refrigerant leaking every 2 months

asked by on

Warm air blowing after 2 months recharging my aircon refrigerant

My car has 140000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hello. The system should be vacuumed down and recharged adding dye to it. Wherever the refrigerant leak is the dye will leak out along with it and will show up a fluorescent orange/green/yellow with a black light depending on the dye used. If you would like to have this checked, a certified pro from YourMechanic can come to your car’s location to pinpoint the leak and follow through with repairs.
