Q: put transmission fuild in brake fuild reservoir by mistake

My friend put transmission fuild in my brake fuild reservoir by mistake i have a 1998 dodge caravan sport he did not tell me right away but about 30 mins later when i did find out i took a paper towel put it in the reservoir and soaked up as much as i could and put brake fuild in but i think i might have not got it all because my brakes are very loose goes to the floor really easy there is a little tension when pressing them

please help and another thing will me pumping the brakes help it or hurt it more please help i live in chicago and its getting colder so i know that affects it more i have read online
