Q: Power window not working

asked by on

The power window won't work. Is the pulley wire broken?

A: The window regulator may have broke and is ...

The window regulator may have broke and is binding the motor or the motor is bad. Both of these are common problems, and if you hear crunching when the window switch is pushed, the regulator is broken. If you do not hear anything then the motor and regulator may be bad.I recommend you have a mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, inspect and repair your car’s window.
