Yesterday I entered car, closed door, turned on ignition. The Panic alarm started sounding. I tried pressing red panic button, unlocking and locking, opening and closing doors, turning ignition off and on, removing key and reinserting. It still continued, horn and all, for about 3 minutes. Same thing happened the next 3 times I used the car, even after it sat overnight in my garage. I changed from remote key to valet key, but it still went into panic mode (and so did I). Then the next time I entered and started car, after it had been sitting in the hot sun for an hour, it was okay. I've had the car for 15 months, and this has only occurred once before. Both times it was raining when it happened, but this time it continued to the next day, which was sunny. I'm wondering if I got moisture in the ignition switch, and if that could cause the alarm?
