Q: Charging system warning light.

asked by on January 03, 2017

the car always shot down after it runs for about 100 ft or more, all the light would go off then the car would shot down afterwards. Then, the inner light, the dash board light and brake light would come back on, but the the car would not crank at all. I took the battery for checked up they said one of the cells is broken. I bought a new battery, and it started when i put it in. I drove it for like 10 miles then the battery light was shown on the dash board later all the light went off but the car was still running after a while it shot down again but, later the light came back up but the engine would not crank. I jump start the car it would run for like 100 ft and shot down again. Please, what could have been the cause of this scenarios? Appreciate it.
