The fault code that is coming up is to let you know that the Nox [exhaust](/topics-exhaust-mercedes/) emissions sensor for bank 1 in the exhaust stream is acting up. The sensor is no longer able to read the exhaust properly so it sets this code.
In order to resolve this issue the sensor has to be replaced as well as the wiring checked leading to the sensor for any wiring issues that need to be repaired.
The cost to have the code properly diagnosed and the sensor replaced can cost around £300 in some cases. The vehicle can continue to be driven for now with no issues until it is replaced but I do recommend having it looked into and repaired as soon as possible.
