Q: Lightingbolt came on and engine light i have a 2017 jeep patriot and it was working fine all of a sudden it wont turn on

If the lightning bolt light is red, this is typically an indication that the electronic throttle control is either damaged or has a blown electrical relay. Unfortunately, it could also mean that the ETC is damaged itself. If you can crank the engine over and it will not start, then the ETC is likely the source. The only way to know for sure is to have a professional mechanic complete an on-site inspection, so they can determine what needs to be resolved. You might want to call the dealership you purchased the Jeep from first, to see if this is covered under their warranty.
