I’m really sorry that you’re having this issue and I’m going to help you through it, but please understand that I (respectfully) don't know your skill level or tools you have to assist us to diagnose/repair your vehicle. Also, understand that I can't see, smell, hear or touch the vehicle either, so your patience/understanding is appreciated. A phone call is not necessary or required and you can ignore the offer if you wish. was this an issue before or after you replaced the starter

it won't start I got power to my lights and the check engine light came on
Automotive Expert
so was this an issue before or after you replaced the starter?

it was an issue before it was changed but the check engine light is new
Automotive Expert
if the car is not running and key on on position the light will be on by default. will the engine spin over or nothing from the starter?

nothing
Automotive Expert
so engine will not spin over correct ?

correct
Automotive Expert
did the jeep stop while driving or came out one day and would not start?

right after I parked it, it won't start
Automotive Expert
any check engine light on before you disconnected the battery?

no, and I didn't disconnect the battery.
Automotive Expert
you replaced the starter with the battery still connected?

a mechanic did I didn't see how he did it but I guess so cause the time was not correct
Automotive Expert
did you have him diagnose the issue or just told him to replace the starter?

he diagnosed could not find a problem at the timebased on the clicking sound I heard we ended up changing the starter
Automotive Expert
single click or rapid click?

it was single click
Automotive Expert
he diagnosed it but could not find a problem? it was not starting and he could not find an issue?

actually it started after it went to the mechanicwe changed it to be on the safe sidenow I don't here the click there is no sound but there is check engine light and it won't start
Automotive Expert
so sounds like he needs to take a look at it again now that's it not starting since you paid for a diagnosis that was not complete. as i said the check engine light will be on if the key is on and the engine is not running.

oh ok
Automotive Expert
take the battery out and have it tested. also make sure there is no corrosion on the terminals

alright thank you for you assistanceone more question if it were the security system is there anything I can do?
Automotive Expert
this should be pretty straight forward diagnosis do you see a red dot flashing on the dash?

no
Automotive Expert
the no not a security issue

ok, it must be the batter then. I"ll have it checked tomorrow, thank you so much Kevin!!!
Automotive Expert
welcome

Which sensors are most important for monitoring and improving the engine’s performance?
The way modern electronic engine control systems are designed, all of the sensors are important but some are more crucial to the vehicle than others. For example, if the engine electronic control unit (ECU) loses the input (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-your-ecu-uses-sensor-data) from the...

Speed vs. Torque
If you compare the concept to some small remote control cars and trucks out there, they have a two speed rear ends to have great low speed torque and use shift gears to have great high speeds. When it comes...
Steering tightens up when turning left while moving and there is a rubbing sound from driver's tire at 10-15 MPH.
The noise you mention seems more likely to be a wheel bearing (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/wheel-bearings-replacement) failing - they get quite noisy with higher road speed, and get even noisier while turning (the outer wheel catches more load). It is possible the tire...

I just got a new battery for my car but today my car won’t start when I put keys in it keeps making a clicking noise
Among the possibilities are that the alternator is not properly re-charging your battery and so when you last turned your car off the battery was, unbeknownst to you, discharged; there is a parasitic power draw when your vehicle is off...
