Howdy from Tennessee, I'm Chris aka Moose. Who am I helping today? I'm glad you've come here to get help. I will do my best to get the answer you are looking for. I help many customers, so sometimes my replies are delayed, I will respond once available. I try to be online at 1-5 pm and 10 pm-5 am every day. **now my engine oil sensor is broken and my heat for the driver side isn't working, can that from an accident?-** -------The front impact could have damaged the oil sensor under the hood since it is very near the impact zone. The climate control in the cab though is not related to the collision. That is a separate issue. Thank you for seeking us for help, I hope I provided what was needed. Press reply if you need to follow up. If you liked my answer please let me know so I can mark your question complete. Moose

Hi from Minnesota! What could the heat issue be? It's really strange that its was only the driver that is affected
Automotive Expert
Normally that concern is to blame on a failure in the HVAC control module or a faulty blend door actuator that controls the temperature door for the driver.

Yikes! One more question, the sensor is pretty important to get fixed soon or ill have to keep checking it?
Automotive Expert
I would address the engine oil sensor sooner than later. It is there to warn you of issues to keep your engine from failing. You do not want to have an expensive engine replacement needed.

Thank you!Wait so it has nothing to do with how much oil is in the truck

There are 2 oil sensors. There is an oil pressure sensor and an oil level sensor. Glad to help.
