What do I had to do to get rid off the indicators ? Do I need to visit service station to reset it or can I do it myself ? Please advice. Thank you

Warning Light is on Inspection $94.99 - $114.99 Get a Quote

At key on, without the engine running, warning lights will normally illuminate as a "bulb check". Once the engine starts, if all warning lights turn off, then you are OK and there is nothing amiss. However, if any warning lights remain illuminated while the engine is on, then there might be a malfunction that should be investigated. If warning lights are on, you can request a warning light diagnostic and the responding certified mechanic will determine if any faults exist and will get this resolved for you. If you have further questions or concerns, do not hesitate to re-contact YourMechanic as we are always here to help you.

engine oil pressure maxed out at 80psi
Hello. This can be caused by the sensor or the gauge itself (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-do-you-know-if-the-oil-pressure-gauge-is-bad). Most of the time on your vehicle, it is because of the gauge. The stepper motors fail and cause this to occur. This would require that the...

With the description that you have given above, it sounds like you may be describing an exhaust leak (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/noise-from-engine-or-exhaust-inspection). The tick could be the exhaust gas escaping from a small crack, or where a gasket has been compromised, and this...

My 2004 vw beetle with auto transmission sort of bangs into gear on the shift from first gear to second gear. only when cold.
Hi there. Thanks for sending in your question today. If your transmission shifts hard into gear when it's cold, the issue is likely some debris stuck in the hydraulic lines of the transmission. Having the transmission fluid flushed (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/transmission-fluid-service) and...

Hi Nicholas. Thanks for contacting us today. The P-0389 code (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/p0389-obd-ii-trouble-code-crankshaft-position-sensor-b-circuit-intermittent) is often caused by a failed electrical harness to the sensor. If the harness was not replaced, or if the code was not cleared from the ECU after completing...
