Q: Misfires

asked by on September 11, 2017

The car was having problems with misfiring and then suddenly wouldn't start. It has since been sitting for a few months. I replaced the battery and the starter this weekend. Still no start. It has power - dashlights. Connected to diagnostic and am getting codes for the misfires/coils but nothing else. Nearby mechanic suggested it may have thought it was stolen with the battery disconnect, etc. so I locked and waited and still nothing. The back driver wheel is locked up and I do not have the BMW lock key so it can't really be moved anywhere. I am unsure where to go next.

My car has 140000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
