Hello and welcome to just answer, my name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* I will assist you today. I am sorry you are having this problem but hopefully I can help. I doubt this is a "bad" engine. Most likely a PCM or the wiring/circuit(s) between the sensor and PCM. Do you know if the mechanic replaced the sensor with OEM Mopar parts or after market parts?

Okay, I asked that because I have had some issues with some after market cam and crank sensors on Chrysler built vehicles. Let me look over the diagnostic procedures for those codes and get back to you asap.

So after looking over the diagnostic procedures I am thinking you may have a problem with the engine wiring harness. I think the 5 volt sensor reference voltage may be intermittently shorting out somewhere. Have your mechanic check the wiring next. I have the diagnostic procedures for you and your mechanic in the links below. Hopefully this will help.

Basically if you follow the diag, you check everything else, then if all checks good, then the PCM is determined to be the problem and then it should be replaced. Let me send you the PCM and sensor connector pinout pictures.

If the timing belt were to have broken, it would have been associated with a sound such as that. My best recommendation would be to have your timing belt inspected (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/car-is-not-starting-inspection) by a professional. The timing cover may need to...

Hello - according to Honda, the "A-36" msg indicates your vehicle needs transmission fluid replacement (3) and differential fluid replacement (6). It is safe to drive your vehicle until this service appointment.
