Q: Leaking transmission fluid
I have a 1999 F 250 super duty 6.8 I was pulling a load when the transmission suddenly loss power and started leaking transmission fluid on exhaust manifold and caught fire for a short time I put it out I started it up again and transmission fluid still came out I let it sit a day and started it again and no fluid came out The tranny was a little low about a quart and a half but ran great Shifted fine and no drips I heard maybe the catalytic converter was bad but seems to have power I want to pull a load again but not sure if it will happen again What do you think caused the problem
