HI Mike, it's nice to meet you Can you tell if it's coming from the front or rear of the car? Also, do you feel anything in the steering wheel when it's happening?

When I take my foot off the accelerator I am hearing slight grinding noiseIt seems to come from the frontNo, nothing happening with the steering wheel

Ok I would check the engine and transmission mounts to start with. If you can get it to make the sound without the car actually rolling, then you may have an issue with one of the pulleys on the engine. If that's the case, remove the drive belts and spin the pulleys by hand to see if any feel rough. Try this and let me know please.

Ok

Thank you.

Ok everything seems to be ok thereAny other suggestions

Hello?
Automotive Expert
How did you check the engine mounts?

They are fine
Automotive Expert
Ok, if the engine mounts were properly checked and they are fine, then I would take a look at the exhaust system and make sure it's not hitting anything. Also, again, if the car doens't have to be in motion for the sound to appear, it could be one of the pulleys.

ThanksBye

Have a nice night.
