A broken condenser will not cause engine malfunction symptoms. Rough shifting is typically cause by a hydraulic or internal transmission issue if transmission level within range.

Fluids good. Changed out input and output sensors as well as tps, plugs, and [air filter](/topics-air-filter-hyundai/). Would a bad tranni mount cause this? As well as other symptoms?
Automotive Expert
No, a bad transmission mount will typically not cause heavy vibration unless completely shot. I believe you should inspect transmission fluid and level. I also recommend checking fault codes in transmission module using scan tool.

Where is the transmission module located? Can I use an obd2 scan tool? I changed fluid and it’s good. The entire engine moved forward under hood whenever I shift from park to drive. Or park to reverse.

You will need a more sophisticated module, typically around $200 on ebay from brands like autel, launch, etc. It engine is rocking, replace the motor mounts. This will eliminate some of the problem. Its very likely the engine mounts have failed due to faulty transmission/rough shifting, but not the other way around.

Thank you much.

I know my truck is a Sierra 2500, my question is can you interchange a 1978 GMC trucks brake booster with my 1997 GMC truck?
Hi there. The best thing to do is remove both brake boosters from the 1997 and the 1978 truck and look at them. As the years went on, then design of the brake boosters changed a little bit. You will...

Hello it sounds like perhaps one or more plug wires (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-often-do-spark-plug-wires-need-to-be-changed) were not re-attached in the correct order. This is especially easy to do on an engine like yours that still has plug wires routed all over the engine. The...
