Q: Humming noise from little box located in lower left corner of engine closest to headlight.

Humming noise while driving and about 3 minutes after I,shut my suv off. I opened the engine and there's a little black box that connects to,the,engine,and that seems to be where the noise is coming from. It gets louder when I take my foot off gas.

My car has 168000 miles.
