How many motor mounts are in a pontiac grand prix?
My car has an automatic transmission.

There is one engine mount, one transmission mount and two torque strut mounts (left and right), so four units in all, although the strut mounts are 2 pieces each, so technically 8 pieces in all. The engine and transmission mounts usually experience most of the wear, but the torque strut mounts should be carefully inspected as well. If you desire an inspection of the motor mounts, and advice and replacement as needed, please request motor/transmission mount inspection/replacement and the responding certified mechanic will get this taken care of for you. If you have further questions or concerns, do not hesitate to re-contact YourMechanic as we are always here to help you.
