How do you turn on the map lights?

A: Your car is equipped with two map lights lo...

Your car is equipped with two map lights located in the front of the vehicle, ahead of the rearview mirror. They provide limited illumination for specific tasks. Here’s how to work them:

  1. Locate the map lights. If your car doesn’t have a moon roof, the map lights can be found next to the dome light in the front. If your car does have a moon roof, the map lights are located on the moon roof control panel.

  2. Press the button for the dome light you want to use. It will turn on.

  3. Press the button again and the dome light will go off.

Tip

The map lights should come on with the dome light when a door is opened. They should go out at the same time as the dome light (roughly 25 seconds).
