Q: How do I know if the sbsr is bad?
Car won't start in the morning but it works in the afternoon, sounds like it lacks of fuel. I checked the fuel pump for power and it doesn't show anything.

In order to determine if your SBSR is faulty, a factory scan tool is needed. There are a couple of technical service bulletins about low fuel, the fuel transfer pumps and reprogramming the SBSR module. Check with your local BMW dealership to determine if your vehicle has had the reprogramming performed.
