You may have an item larger than what will fit into your trunk. With the ability to fold down the rear seats, you increase the storage space for cargo, especially longer items.

  1. Find the lever in the trunk for the seatbacks, which is located at the top and labeled with an image of a seat.

  2. Pull on it and fold the seats forward.

Make sure the seats are locked in place by trying to pull them forward once you set them back up.
