Q: Have a 2016 Nissan Altima 2.5s. I filled it up with unleaded plus gas instead of regular unleaded gas can this damage the car?

asked by on February 23, 2018

Will my car get damaged if I use unleaded plus gas instead of regular unleaded gas like Nissan recommends??

My car has 17000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi Ricardo. Thanks for contacting us tonight. Putting unleaded plus vs. regular unleaded should not have an impact on your car (especially if it’s a one time thing). Moving forward, just make sure to put the recommended fuel into your Altima.
