Q: Fuel tank leak

asked by on

The fuel tank is leaking.

Fuel tanks can not be repaired. If one is found to be leaking or damaged it should be replaced before continuing to drive the vehicle. A proper gas tank inspection should be performed to ensure no other damage has come to any of the fuel lines or the EVAP system, used to recycle the unused fuel vapors within the fuel system.
