Q: Front power windows will not roll down all the way

The front power windows just suddenly stopped rolling all the way down. They roll up just fine. What is puzzling to me is that they both go down about 6 inches and stop, as if they have a safety feature. Is there a feature that I can reset it?? Or do I need to just get new motors for the windows?? If I need new motors, will I need one for each door? And what is the piece (motor) called that I need to order?

I don't know if this is related, but my windshield wipers are not working properly either. They just have one speed. And when I turn them off they keep going for at least a min or two. Sometimes they stop in the middle of the wipe when I turn them off.

Several months back I had to soder the body control module, because it was shorting out, my windows, wipers, and radio would just stop working. I Google the problem for my make n model and found the problem.
