was the master bench bled before install?

I don't even know what that means I had a professional replace and fix a whole bunch of stuff including my [transmission](/topics-transmission-ford/) my clutch my transmission cables I just attempted to replace the slave cylinder it should've been simple but now I've got nothingMy owners manual doesn't tell me where anything is that I need right now it's all about maintenance and dumb shit for people who don't work on carsGoogle isn't much help either and YouTube is even worse

there should be some sort of fluid coming out from the slave, so your saying with bleeder open and pumping 100 times no fluid comes at all?

It's got fluid it's not pumping out it is coming out everything is full but I still have no clutch pressureThere is fluid thereWhen I pump the clutch nothing happens anywhere with anythingIt does not affect anything else
Automotive Expert
try having a helper pump 10 times and hold the pedal down while you crack the bleeder, let fluid come out and close bleeder then release pedal and repeat that about 10 times and see if that gets the slave working

I did that last night I had no luck as I said it doesn't do anythingPumping the clutch moving the clutch doesn't do anything anywhere elseThere is fluid in the slave cylinder

ok it sounds like your new master is bad then, that will need to be replaced

I just had all of that replaced everything is newPens good linkage is good everything is good that's why this doesn't make any sense and I contacted you
Automotive Expert
Thats what im saying the new master is bad from what your telling me, new doesnt mean good, I get new parts all day that are bad

There's got to be something somewhere but it's not my parts everything is new everything was put in professionally I had to replace the slave cylinder couldn't afford the mechanic so I did it myself and now I don't know what the problem is. I need someone that knows about this to talk me through it because everything I've looked up has not worked
Automotive Expert
ok ill opt out and see if someone else has a better idea on this

Good morning Bleeding these clutches can be tricky. Try this. Remove the slave cylinder with the line attached. Take the top off the clutch master. Manually push the rod in on the slave and then let it come out. That pushes the air trapped up and out of the clutch master cylinder. Do that several times and then reattached the slave and pump the pepdal about 10 times. Roy

Thank you but it's already been doneI'll just light it on fire
Automotive Expert
You may need to do it several times to get the air to release. Roy

Rattling from behind wheel well of front passenger that gets worse with speed as well as a thumping from front passenger tire
