Can i call
Automotive Expert
Can you turn the key ON, and tell me if you have power at TWO pins down in the fuel pump relay socket? If you do, then did you check the inertia switch , there is a fuel pump safety switch on that truck near the firewall on the inside of the truck, it's black with a red button on it, you want to be sure that button is pushed DOWN, and while cranking, you should have voltage to the inertia switch, if only one wire is hot, unplug it temporarily and jump it with a jumper wire or paper clip and see if that helps. I have also seen the fuel tank switch, the front to rear switch fail before. I can't place a call right at this moment. But if you want to request one, an available tech will call as soon as possible.

You should see a PINK/BLACK wire at the fuel tank selector switch, it should be hot when cranking. If it's not, the problem is upstream from there, but if it is hot, you could jump the PINK/BLACK wire, to the RED wire for the front tank at the selector switch. and see if that fixed it. or get another tank selector switch for it, If it's not hot, try jumping the fuel pump relay with a jumper wire or paper clip from the yellow wire to the PINK/BLACK wire and see if it works then, if it fixes it, then it could be the PCM not grounding the fuel pump relay. Thank you and let us know if you have any further questions.
