Q: Every time I step on gas, RPM goes up but I do not gain any speed
So with my car, every time I step on the gas pedal, my RPM will raise but I won’t gain any speed. I can’t move forward but I can put it in gear and there is no sound when it’s in gear. I was going up a Hill last night and that’s when it started happening to me then it started smelling as if my clutch is burn. But I want to be 100 percent sure.
My car has 17000 miles.
