Q: Engine turns over, doesn't start

asked by on

The engine will not start even though it turns over. I don't know if it's an electrical or fuel problem.

Since this is a 1970 model, then you may have a problem with the ignition system or the carburetor not getting or giving fuel. The points in the distributor or the carburetor may be plugged. I recommend having a mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, come to your location to inspect your vehicle’s no-start condition to ensure that the correct repairs are made.
