Q: Engine Power Reduce error

asked by on

I am getting an Engine Power Reduce error on my Arcadia.

There is a wire harness in the right floor pan area that may be out of position, and a stud is shorting it. The wiring would have to be fixed, and error codes cleared. The symptoms of this wiring short could include problems with the stabilitrack, ABS, or other systems. I recommend that you have a mechanic, like the ones from YourMechanic, come by and scan the engine to properly diagnose the Engine Power Reduce error issue.
