Q: Door lock won't open from inside

The door lock broke and won't open from the inside.

Hello. If the door will open from the outside and not the inside ,then most of the time the handle has broke or the cable from the handle to the latch mechanism is damaged. The door panel will need to be removed to inspect the handle and cable to see which one is broken. If you need further assistance, I recommend you have a mechanic, like one from YourMechanic, inspect the door problem and repair any damaged components.
