I would start by finishing doing the spark plugs then of the problem still persists I would advise to have a compression test done just to rule out anything mechanical.

It is possible that it can fix it. has your husband verified spark at the number three cylinder. If so it wouldn’t do any good to replace.

No. He isn't sure which one is cylinder 3.Bc there is 6 spark plugs 3 in the front and 3 behind them he only changed the first 3 in the front..
