Q: Differential makes a whining noise when ever the car is moving (accelerate or decelerate)

asked by on January 06, 2017

The whining noise increases as the car accelerates and decreases as the car de-accelerates. No noise while engine is running and car is standing still in drive or park. I have rotated tires and it did not help.
My car has an automatic transmission.
